Canine Blood - v1: Darkening Streets
Roleplay Info Season;; Winter Weather;; The city is beginning to be covered in snow, whilst ice is becoming a problem for those out on the streets. Winter has reared it's ugly head yet again, and it's causing a horrible time for those who are currently without a home. The moon shines gently upon the snow and ice, but even that can't stop the horrors that lie within. Lack of live prey is making it hard for those who choose to hunt, and it isn't odd to find street dogs fighting over food. Breeding;; Rare Birthing;; Rare Natural Disasters;; None Important Warnings;; The Black Shucks are definitely one pack you'll need to look out for, especially for those new in town. Plot;; Deep within the city, darkness thrives. You see, urban places aren't home to just humans and their pets. And just because the way of the humans in this city is tame and without this darkness, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. There are some who can't let their guard down for fear of being torn to bits by said darkness. The Black Shucks, a pack of strays, are beginning to show that they mean business. It seems the humans won't ever find out, but the dogs? Surely, even those with homes fear the Black Shucks. Blood stains the once-clean streets, murder a common part of the city life now. Canine blood is being spilt ceaselessly, and other dark societies much like the Black Shucks are soon to form. Is there hope? Will the light arise from the blood as well? The sad eyes of the canids cursed to gazing upon the bloodstained roads may not live to see another day, but then again...who says they want to?
The only time the blood will stop to spill...

The City
Main Street A street packed with stores and prestigious houses. A lot of the dogs who are actually owned by someone go here, living in nothing short of paradise, where one is groomed at demand, and where prestigious shows are around each and every corner. But of course, these dogs aren't the only ones roaming the main street. There's also the less fortunate, those on the streets of a city whose humans care not for the strays that wander, searching for a better life, but for the dogs with potential. The purebred, pedigree, beautiful dogs who spend their lives earning money and awards through shows, those never found amongst the strays. Moderator: Darkness

The High School Ah, the high school. A rare number of dogs wander around this area, often in hope to find to find themselves a young owner worthy of leading them through life. Others come here to grieve for their lost owners, those who once spent most of their lives in this hellhole. And then, there are those who attempt to make their homes in the grounds of the school, although many are beginning to realize that the public school is a much easier place to find a spot to lie down.

The Public School The local public school, from grades kindergarden to eight. This is the best place for the strays to make their temporary homes, for there are quite a few places in which one could go to sleep as night falls across the playground. It isn't odd to find a dog or two sleeping in the tunnels around the playground, keeping shelter from the weather. It's also a great place to try and pick up an owner, if that's what you seek. Little kids have been known to fall for dogs. Moderator: Darkness

The Park Now here's the spot every dog, housed and stray, has to love. It's a wonderful place to run, whether it's green or snowy. It's got a playground in the middle of it, and is filled with lush bushes and trees perfect for territorial dogs to mark. There's lots of shade, and it's become a true heaven-on-earth for the canines in this city. Moderator: Darkness

Outskirts of Town
The Junkyard One of the many places amongst the outskirts of town, this is a popular one amongst dogs. Or rather, was. Nowadays, it's inhabited by terrible beasts of dogs, and it's unlikely you'll come in and get out alive unless you plan on joining them. Darkness reigns in this place, and it's went from paradise to hell on earth, thanks to the mutt who brought these canines together.

Train Tracks Circling parts of the city, snaking around the outskirts, and even touching the countryside. The train tracks. They're mostly built on the outskirts of the city, and it's been known for a few dogs to rest around them. And then, there's the bodies. There are a good few who fear this place, for it isn't odd to find a cadaver lying here or there, a poor soul hit by one of the trains. But if one was to commit suicide, here would be the place to do it. They say a thousand broken hearts have layed their heads to rest upon this horrid place, to find that in the morning, they don't wake up.
The Hood (1 sub-board) Or at least, that's what it's called around here. This is the, so to speak, bad side of the tracks. This is where most of the local crime happens, usually done by those damned teenagers hanging around. A good amount of animal abuse, often in the form of dogfights, happens down here. Right next to the train tracks, you gotta be careful coming around here. Some say that there'll someday be a pack here that will destroy...but not yet. Moderator: Darkness
Disused Barn A disused barn just off of the meadow. The occasional dog wanders into here, curious of what to find. Usually, not much more than some old, scratchy straw to lay on, and a good number of rats running around. This is usually the only reason anyone tries their luck in this old place. The Meadow Flowing green grass paints a wonderful heaven-on-earth for dogs. Though this isn't part of the city, it's somewhere that one can easily travel to if they so please. The grass is lush and soft, perfect for mothers giving birth or for those who search for a mate in the world to at last find love in the damned city. Who says there's no heaven? If the city really is hell, this very meadow is heaven, for sure. Moderator: Darkness
